You’ve probably heard of “Craftivism” but have you heard of “Craftivision”?
No? Me neither, I just made it up.
Yesterday, I paused my C.V. refreshing, LinkedIn stalking and “networking” and spent a morning reflecting on what I what to get out of the next year or so.
Being made redundant can feel like having the rug pulled from under you, but I keep reminding myself to be open to the opportunities it could bring. Perhaps there was something pretty cool under the rug the whole time.
I felt nostalgic for my art college days and thought what better way to explore my vision for the future than going through random magazines, photos and paper and creating a collage that brings it to life.
My “Craftivision” in a nutshell:
- Keep running
- Continue painting
- Use creativity to support my local community
- Stay curious and open to opportunities
- Keep gardening
- Less thinking, more doing
- Embrace moments of joy
- Get involved in Bristol’s mural art scene
- Spend more time by the sea
- Be brave
And most importantly, get a dog.
What would feature in your Craftivision board?
